Memorization Etiquette for Children: The Home-Academy Partnership
Raising a 'Little Hafiz' at Ghaith Academy is an investment project for both this world and the hereafter. We believe the teacher lays the foundation, but the home environment is what waters this sapling to bloom. A child's success is not just in finishing chapters, but in becoming an 'ethical model' reflecting Quranic values.
The Motivational Protocol at Home
We encourage parents to adopt a 'Positive Reinforcement' approach. The child must associate Quran sessions with love, care, and appreciation, not pressure or exhaustion. Make the completion of a 'Juz' a family celebration befitting the greatness of the achievement, to instill in their mind that the Quran is the top priority.
"Teach your child the Quran, and the Quran will teach them everything." — Well-known maxim.
Role Modeling: The Living Quran at Home
Do not expect passion for the Quran from your child if they do not see you opening it. A child follows the 'actions' of their parents before their 'words.' When you have your own routine, and when you embody Quranic ethics in your dealings with them, memorization will become a natural ambition for them to emulate you.
Role Integration: Constant Communication
At our Academy, we provide regular communication channels with parents to monitor the child's psychological and educational state, ensuring a pleasant and fruitful memorization journey that produces the 'Ghaith Generation'—combining knowledge and character.
